Mangawhai Tracks Charitable Trust
Description
A strategy has been developed for the proposed MTB to be part of the Lincoln Downs farm recreation area (KDC land) off Brown Rd.
While the preliminary design has been developed by Southstar Trails, the current priority is to establish access to the recreation area and to the upper ridge to facilitate the construction of both the MTB and walking track components.
While the Tracks Trust has established a project team we await the formation of a similar team by KDC with the aim of getting the strategy endorsed and the access component underway.

The bush block on the slopes of the Brynderwyn Hills has the potential to accommodate one of the finest MTB parks in the country and the team is keen to ensure it meets the highest standards, makes best use of the available area, and will attract national competition.
